New premises to create at least 75 new jobs in Taiwan's gaming industry
Today, Side is happy to announce that we’ve officially opened our new Taipei studio, creating 75 jobs in Taipei. With Taiwan’s gaming industry expected to be worth $4.64bn by 2030, the expansion is a strategic move as we aim to entice Taiwan’s growing developer community with new integrated AI solutions built into our service portfolio.
Following a strong year for our Taipei site’s Quality Assurance (QA), Localization, and Localization QA businesses respectively, the team successfully completed over 100 projects in 2025 and promoted approximately 10% of full-time staff in the process. Side Taipei’s studio veterans will continue to work together along with new colleagues recruited from the hiring drive to fill our new, larger space. Representatives from Side's parent company, PTW Holdings, joined for the opening ceremony in Nangang, Taipei city last night.
Local expertise in gaming has naturally increased as Taipei’s population has become more prominent gamers, encouraging businesses like Side to put down roots in the region. There are approximately 14.5 million gamers locally, placing it among the world’s top 15 gaming markets. It’s recognized globally for its high player spending and influence across online and mobile gaming.

While the focus of our Taipei studio is QA, Localization, and Localization QA, the team will work closely with the wider Side network of studios to support cross-functional projects.
