CO-DEVELOPMENT STUDIO OF THE YEAR
For the second year running, our Codev team have secured a shortlist spot for “Co-Development Studio of the Year” following our work on the Risk of Rain 2: Alloyed Collective, which released in November to overwhelmingly positive reviews.
This was a significant project that involved developing the theme, playable characters, enemies, and lore from end to end. We’re grateful to the team at Gearbox for letting us be part of such an amazing project.
STRATEGIC PARTNER OF THE YEAR
Next up is “Strategic Partner of the Year” for which we’ve been shortlisted alongside our friends at Razer.
Last year, our respective tech teams put their heads together to solve an industry headache: Playtesting. Everyone wants to do more of it, but in a world of rising production costs, it’s difficult to make that a reality. Using the Razer Cortex: Playtest Program – Powered by Side, developers and their supporting QA teams can collate bug data and anecdotal feedback from players through the Razer Cortex launcher in the context of natural play.
Side’s bespoke system compiles all that data together, providing QA teams and developers with actionable insights and feedback based on bugs players have reported and analysis of their gameplay. The technology was built from scratch by Razer and Side, so we’re immensely proud to see it shortlisted.
Finally, a huge congratulations to the Frontier team for Jurassic World Evolution 3 which is up for the Audio Innovation of the Year award! Our audio team were proud to collaborate on this project.

This is just a snapshot of the work our teams have done over the last year: 87 language pairs and 50 million words were translated, over 480,000 hours of LQA were logged, 312 titles QA tested, 40 codev projects completed, and 4 BAFTA nominations for our audio work.
